AMET conducts 13th Annual Convocation

chennai: amet university recently held its 13th annual convocation at the anna centenary library auditorium in chennai. founder and chancellor dr. j. ramachandran addressed the event, stressing the importance of innovation in maritime training, especially in the face of the industry's digitalization and advancements in technologies like artificial intelligence and data science. three distinguished figures in the maritime sector, capt. rajesh tandon, capt. sartaj gill, and mr. joao almeida, were honored with honorary doctorates. the university awarded degrees to 874 graduates, including 23 phd scholars, with over 1500 attendees.
