TNPSC to hold certificate verification, counselling for Group IV posts from Dec 8

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) will conduct certificate verification and counselling for candidates shortlisted for posts under the combined civil services examination-iv (group iv services) from december 8 to 18.ina statement on monday, tnpsc said the marks and rank list for the exam, notified under no.07/2025 dated april 25, 2025, were published on its website on october 22. the recruitment process covers junior assistant, village administrative officer and several other posts included in the ccs-iv services.the verification and counselling sessions will be held at the commission's office on commission road, chennai, except on saturdays and sundays. the list of candidates called for certificate verification has been uploaded on the tnpsc website, the release said.aspirants can download their call letters—containing the date, time and other instructions—from the commission's website. the commission clarified that candidates will be informed only through sms and email, and no separate communication will be sent by post.tnpsc further cautioned that being called for certificate verification does not guarantee participation in counselling or final selection. “it is not possible to assure that all candidates summoned for certificate verification will be admitted to counselling or selected,” the release said.candidates who fail to attend the verification and counselling on the scheduled date and time will not be given another opportunity, tnpsc added.
