Madurai: Seventy-two college professors from various districts were honoured with the 'Vizhudhugal - Sri Subhalakshmi Ammal Educational Management 2025' award at a function organised by the RL Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS) in association with Dinamalar.

Instituted this year, the awards recognise excellence in teaching, research, innovation and academic leadership. The selected professors were presented with the awards by Kannan, Research Director of the M.S. Sellamuthu Mental Rehabilitation Institute, at a ceremony held at RLIMS on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, Kannan urged the awardees to continue contributing to society with greater vigour and to inspire students through their work. The event was presided over by RLIMS Director Subramanian.

Professor Pugazhendi delivered the welcome address, while Professor Abraham Pradeep proposed the vote of thanks.
