Tiruchirappalli: The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) has released its first-ever independently audited placement report, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and global best practices in data reporting.
The initiative, which follows the institute's AMBA re-accreditation and 16th rank in the NIRF 2025, marks a milestone in ensuring data accuracy and institutional accountability in management education, IIMT said in a release.
Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, said the audited report is “a statement of trust” and reflects the institute's dedication to credibility and stakeholder assurance.
“This achievement demonstrates to recruiters that they can rely on us for accurate insights into the capabilities of our students,” he said.
Prof. Abhishek Kumar Totawar, Chairperson (Placements), said the process “underscores transparency and accountability”, adding that “doing what is right, even when it is not easy,” remains a guiding principle for the institute.
According to the report, over 150 companies participated in summer placements, including 50 new recruiters. The highest stipend stood at ₹3.5 lakh for the PGPM programme and ₹2 lakh for PGPM-HR.
For final placements, 189 companies recruited PGPM students and 40 companies hired PGPM-HR graduates. The highest CTC recorded was ₹43.94 lakh (PGPM) and ₹33.12 lakh (PGPM-HR), with average CTCs of ₹19.27 lakh and ₹17.84 lakh, respectively.
IIM Tiruchirappalli said the audited placement report establishes a benchmark for integrity and reinforces its focus on long-term excellence and stakeholder trust.
