Kottayam: Kottayam has secured first two ranks in medical section and third rank in engineering section in the Medical, Engineering Entrance Examination, results of which were announced today.

The first rank in the medical section was bagged by Jaibon George of Changanacherry and the second by Estaar K Johnson of Nattakom panchayat here.

Jitin Sam Varkey of Thellakom here secured third rank in Engineering section.

Jaibon, who secured 96.5 per cent in Plus two examination, also scored third rank in All India Medical Entrance Examination.
