Connecticut Tamil Sangam is a Non-Profit Organization registered in the State of Connecticut(CT).

Connecticut Tamil Sangam was formed in 1991. We currently have over 300 members. With your help we plan to expand the membership to include all the Tamils who live in Connecticut.
We need your suggestions, feedback and active participation to make our Sangam activities interesting and useful. Please send us your suggestions by email.

We welcome you to become a member of the Connecticut Tamil Sangam. All contributions made to the Sangam are tax deductible.

The Sangam uses the membership money for renting the space to host functions, purchase snacks, coffee and cold drinks during the functions, pay for printing and mailing charges, and pay for the performing artists when appropriate. In order for us to provide quality programming at low cost to the members (or at no cost when possible), the Sangam relies heavily on the membership dues. This is why it is important for us to increase the membership.
Connecticut Tamil Sangam - Your Involvement
We welcome all levels of participation from our members. Here are different ways in which you can get involved:
First and foremost, please become a member. We need increased membership for us to be able to offer quality programming.
Find out and let us know if your organization provides matching funds when you contribute to a non-profit organization like us.
Help us identify new arrivals to the state so we can ask them to become members also.Volunteer for various aspects of the Sangam activities - bring food for functions, help with the arrangements before and after functions, contribute to Ponni, and help with content for our website.
Let us know about your ideas on how to make our gatherings more exciting. Refer us to other performers and talents that you have either seen or heard about, so we can try to organize an event with them.
