Blood donation camp to commemorate India's Republic Day celebration in Male', capital city of Maldives.
Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) of High Commission of India in Maldives organized a blood donation camp on the occasion of the Republic Day of India 2022. It is also a part of India@75 celebration at the Maldivian Blood Services. The camp was open from 0930 hrs to 1400 hrs on 22-January-2022 in the capital City Male'.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by the Helath Minister of Maldives, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Naseem and the High Commissioner of India to Maldives His Excellency Mr. Munu Mahawar.
Indians residing in Maldives and Maldivians donated blood at the camp today, Director of Indian Cultural Centre Dr (Mrs) Syed Tanveer Nasreen and Senior Executive Director of Maldives Ministry of Health Ms.Aminath Shathfa Shafeen were among the blood donors on the occasion.
Blood donation took place following the corona protocal.
