It is necessary to allow private airlines like Qatar, Emirates and British Airways to operate fights from U.S.,U.K, Dubai and /Doha etc to Tamilnadu particularly to places like Trichy, Coimbatore and Madurai as several Indian citizens had come to these countries on tourists visas before March are also stranded. The present Vanthe Bharat services are inadequate to meet their needs. Further those who came to these countries had to book return flights while booking for onward journeys as a pre-requisite to obtain visa and have purchased return tickets by paying thousands of rupees. So,they can travel without spending additional thousands to book afresh in Vanthe Bhrath. This arrangement for allowing private international flights at least for a week or 10 days as a one-time measure will mitigate the avoidable hardships to these people.(till normalcy is restored to allow regular international flights.) vande Bharath has not helped Indians stranded in several countries. Only a few thousands could get back to India. Number of flights from many needy citizens from countries viz. U.S.A, U.K. and other countries are yet to travel back to India. Further, even flights from these countries are to destinations like Delhi and Bombay and there are no flights to Chennai. If Chennai is under lock down and in red zone then flights can be arranged to other Airports like Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai. There are reports that nearly 150 passengers landed at Delhi Airport from some countries were asked to undergo quarantine for 14 days at Delhi (paid quarantine). If these people travel to Chennai after Delhi quarantine again they may have to undergo another spell of quarantine prescribed by T.N.Govt. In Tamilnadu several apartments are also insisting on home quarantine for 14 days. So persons from abroad have go spend "Rest of their Life" in quarantine? Several paid institutions, hotels are unhigenic that there is danger of catching other types of diseases. Chief Minister of Karnataka's views on the contribution of the Brahmin community to the society is correct. It is very painful to note the plight of Delhi doctors who are reportedly working without salary. Lip sympathy and clapping will not fill their stomach. The proposed move to change the of names of all cities/towns is ridiculous to say the least. Why this attempt at this juncture when the Govt. is concentrating to tackle covid19 with full vigour? The changes will lead to more complications and chaos and it is hoped the Tamilnadu Govt. will give up this move and withdraw the notification. It is a most welcome news that Tirumala shrine which is considered as Bhoologa Vaikuntam is ed for public dharsan. Though the restrictions to deny admission to senior citizens above 65 and children below 10 is understandable it is hoped that sooner than later this restriction will be removed. The Association has expressed their solidarity with the Govt.in the hour of National and International crisis affecting the entire humanity and stated that when the medical, police forces and other organisations are serving the Nation unmindful of their healthcare, forgoing D.A.arrears will be a small token of their gesture on the part of the Central Govt. employees.
