Elite Sports Persons Scheme
Eligibility:
Participation in Olympics, World/Asian Championships, Asian Games, or Commonwealth Games in the past two years with a top-8 finish.
Representation of Tamil Nadu in national-level competitions over the last four years.
Benefits: ₹30 lakh per annum for selected candidates.

Mission International Medals Scheme (MMIS)
Eligibility:
Gold medalists in national-level competitions conducted by the government or recognized sports associations.
Participation in individual events at the Olympics, Asian Games, or Commonwealth Games.
Benefits: ₹12 lakh per annum, supporting up to 75 athletes, including differently-abled players.

Champion Development Scheme (CDS)
Eligibility:
Gold medal winners in national-level competitions conducted by government or recognized organizations.
Benefits: ₹2 lakh per annum, currently awarded to 102 athletes.
Selection Process:

A government-appointed high-level committee oversees the selection process. Scholarships are awarded for up to two years, subject to terms and conditions. Selected athletes must submit monthly updates on training, competitions, injuries, and treatments via a designated online platform.
