Jobs in the IT sector may look attractive, but students should understand that core engineering fields offer better job security. It's important to focus on long-term, steady growth.
Most students in India come from middle-class families and naturally choose colleges that promise good job opportunities. However, there is often a big gap between what colleges teach and what companies actually need. That's why it's important for colleges to offer special training to prepare students for real jobs.
Internships are a key part of getting good jobs. Students often get hired by the companies where they did their internships. That's why we help our students do a three-month internship in top companies related to their field of study.
Whatever industry we work in, we must keep learning and adapting to new changes. Today, everything is available on mobile phones—this can be both good and bad. We should use modern technology wisely to grow and improve continuously.
Colleges should not stop with just teaching modern technologies and helping students find jobs. They must also help students become emotionally strong and socially responsible. That's why our institution encourages students to do social service—like donating blood to hospitals and helping children in government schools by giving free training and equipment.
We also focus on research, mental health support, skill development for specific industries, and training in entrepreneurship. Our professors play a major role in all these efforts.
Education has the power to change lives. But education is not just about marks. It should help society and the nation. Dr. Abdul Kalam became the President of India despite coming from a simple fishing family because he used his education for the good of the country.
