Chennai: The Department of ECE, EEE and CSE are combinedly organized the “International Conference on Signal Processing, Computation, Electronics, Power, and Telecommunication (IConSCEPT 2024)” at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal from July 4-5, 2024.

The inaugural function of the conference took place on July 4th 2024 in presence of Dr. Makarand Madhao Ghangrekar, Director of NIT Puducherry, Dr. S. Sundaravarathan, Registrar of NIT Puducherry, Dr. Shankar Venugopal, Vice President, Mahindra & Mahindra, Chennai,Dr. Jeyraj Selvaraj, Professor, University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Dr. K. Porkumaran, Chairman, IEEE Madras Section attended the event as guest keynote speakers.

The Chief guest Dr. Shankar Venugopal, Vice President, Mahindra & Mahindra, Chennai has pointed out the importance of multidisciplinary engineering education and research.

Dr. G. Koperundevi, General Chair of the conference, presented the welcome address, and Dr. M.M. Rajan Singaravel, General Chair of the conference, elaborated about the conference to the audience. In addition Dr. Mohammad S Obaidat, Distinguished/Honorary Professor, King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, (KASIT), The University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan and Dr. Siti Khairunniza Binti Bejo, Associate Professor, CEng MIET, Director, Institute of Plantation Studies Universiti Putra Malaysia will also deliver keynote sessions in the conference.

Almost 150 scholars and scientists across India are participating in the conference and discussing their findings and perspectives on different topics. The topics include communication, Antenna microwave and electronics, AI and signal Processing, Energy conversion systems, Power system automation and control, Data Learning and Data Computing.

A total of 144 research articles will be presented and discussed in this conference.
