Coimbatore: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has expanded its academic offerings with the launch of an International School of Law at its Coimbatore campus, introducing integrated law programmes with a global perspective.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the establishment of its new International School of Law, set to commence academic operations from the 2025-26 academic year.

The school will offer five-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programmes, combining core Indian legal studies with comparative international law.

Designed to prepare students for diverse roles in law, policy, and governance, both in India and abroad, the curriculum emphasizes practical learning through moot courts, legal aid clinics, internships, and specialized skill development modules.

The programmes will be offered in collaboration with foreign universities and are supported by the university's Corporate and Industry Relations (CIR) division to facilitate robust placement opportunities.

The faculty comprises legal scholars and professionals from both Indian and international institutions, providing students with a world-class academic environment. Applications are now open at www.amrita.edu/law, with scholarships available for eligible candidates.
