Chennai: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, has been conferred the Best Clean and Green Campus Award 2024 at the 54th National Annual Convention of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), held at Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab.

The award recognizes the institution's commitment to sustainability through initiatives such as waste management, water conservation, afforestation drives, renewable energy adoption, and eco-friendly campus planning.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a multi-campus university, holds an A++ accreditation from NAAC and ranks 81st globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2024.
