Chennai: Anna University has announced that students of its Distance Education programmes who still have pending arrear papers in MBA, M.Sc., and MCA courses will be given a final opportunity to clear them in the upcoming semester examinations scheduled for November-December 2025.

According to a university notification, several students who had completed their courses under the Distance Education Institute but could not obtain their degrees due to arrears have been awaiting another chance to appear for the exams.

The university stated that this will be the last chance for such students to write their arrear papers, following a similar special examination conducted earlier. Candidates eligible for this opportunity are required to register online and pay the prescribed examination fee through the university's official portal — https://coe1.annauniv.edu — on or before October 21, 2025.

Officials said the decision aims to help long-pending candidates complete their degree requirements and bring closure to older batches of distance education students.
