Chennai: Aptech Computer Education, the flagship brand of Global Learning Solutions major - Aptech Limited, today announced the launch of a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Applications, in association with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MS University), Tirunelveli.
The objective of this program is to produce full-fledged IT professionals with the skills and confidence to build a rewarding career for themselves. It is aimed at training students in the latest industry-relevant modules with the latest technical educational tools in order to better their career development. It carries intensive course curriculum as well as collaborative and experiential training which is designed to give every student that unique competitive edge in the IT industry.
The course curriculum would include all modules from Aptech Computer Education’s flagship program – Aptech Certified Computer Programmers (ACCP), and four mandatory modules from MS University viz. English Language, an elective 2nd Language, as listed in the university prospectus and 2 papers of soft skills.

Announcing the program, Professor Dr. R.T. Sabapathy Mohan, Vice Chancellor, MS University, said, 'A B.Sc. Degree from MS University in Computer Applications backed by Aptech, a global leader in IT education, with its expertise and experience spanning over 23 years in disseminating quality training across 35 countries, makes it a power packed combination. This course will help to enhance the employability of the students manifold, opening up a world of opportunities for them in this sphere.
The newly-launched joint-program will be made available across-the-country at select Aptech Education centers. It will be a three year BCA course, with 140 credits as per University norms. All the examinations will be conducted online facilitated by Aptech Ltd.
