Chennai: Students from B V Bhavan's Rajaji Vidhyashram School emerged winners of Casagrand's 'Battle of Brains' 2025, one of Chennai's largest inter-school quiz competitions, which concluded here on Sunday.

The champions took home the trophy along with prizes worth ₹4 lakh.

Organised by real estate developer Casagrand in association with Nexus Consulting, the two-month-long contest saw participation from more than 800 students across over 100 schools in the city. The quiz featured zonal rounds in North, Central, South and West Chennai, followed by semifinals and a wildcard round. Teams from PSBB KK Nagar and Sandipani Vidyalaya secured the second and third places respectively.

The grand finale was attended by television anchor Gopinath as chief guest, Casagrand COO Gautam Agarwaal and quizmaster Venkatesh Srinivasan, founder of Nexus Consulting. The final rounds tested students on science, current affairs, culture, visual challenges and a Chennai-focused segment.

Agarwaal said the strong participation reflected the event's growing impact and Casagrand's commitment to community engagement. He said the company planned to introduce more initiatives that encourage curiosity and student involvement.

With increased participation and expanded formats, the 2025 edition has strengthened its position as Chennai's leading inter-school quiz competition.
