Chennai: The Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) on Tuesday organised the curtain-raiser for the 15th edition of Source India - Electronics Supply Chain 2026, to be held on February 10-11 at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Supported by the Tamil Nadu Industries Department, the event aims to strengthen India's electronics manufacturing value chain and boost domestic value addition.
In a message, Tamil Nadu Industries Minister Dr TRB Rajaa said the state's electronics output is set to rise from USD 14 billion to USD 50 billion under the leadership of Chief Minister M K Stalin. He said Source India has played a key role in facilitating B2B engagements over the past 15 years and must evolve into a global exposition. He added that Tamil Nadu's electronics sector has achieved “zero-defect manufacturing” in several segments and credited the industry for its rapid progress.
Dr Darez Ahamed, Managing Director, Guidance Tamil Nadu, said Source India is a platform that drives collaboration and innovation at a time when India is working toward a USD 500-billion electronics manufacturing target by 2030. Guidance Tamil Nadu is partnering with ELCINA for the 2026 edition.
ELCINA said the sector in the state has expanded sharply, with Tamil Nadu accounting for USD 14.65 billion in electronics exports in 2025, or 41% of India's total.
The 2026 expo will feature over 200 exhibitors, an international conference on supply chain enhancement and more than 3,000 B2B meetings linking domestic firms with buyers from countries including Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Singapore.
