New Delhi: FTII chairperson Gajendra Chauhan and senior functionaries of the premier film school met Information and Broadcasting minister M Venkaiah Naidu and informed him of the activities of the institute.
 
Sources said that this was Chauhan's first meeting with Naidu, after he took charge of the I&B ministry. During the meeting various issues related to functioning of FTII were discussed.
 
It is learnt that Chauhan also had a detailed discussion with Minister of State Rajyavardhan Rathore over various issues.
 
On June 12, last year, FTII students had went on a strike against Gajendra's appointment as its Chairman, however, on October 28 they withdrew their 139-day-old strike and vowed to continue "peaceful" protests against him.
