New Delhi: The India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023 is scheduled to take place from January 17 to 20 in Delhi. The Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, is organizing the event, with the National Innovation Foundation-India coordinating it. The theme is "Science and Technology Public Outreach in Amrit Kaal." The festival aims to celebrate India's achievements in science, foster scientific temper, and engage students. Notably, 22 countries are participating. The event includes various activities such as conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and a space hackathon. The Science Media Communication Cell is managing the media coverage. IISF, in its ninth edition, serves as the largest science festival, connecting various segments of society and promoting science awareness.
