Kovai: The 10th graduation ceremony of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology unfolded on 4 Nov 2023 with great enthusiasm and pride at the college's esteemed theater.At the commencement of this grand event, Natarajan, CEO, KPR Educational Institutions, took the helm as the presiding authority and officially inaugurated the graduation ceremony. Following which, the college's principal, Ramasamy, extended a warm welcome to the attendees and shared insights into the institution's endeavors in nurturing academic excellence among its students.Furthermore, highlighting KPR Institute's global recognition, Stanford University has acknowledged the institution's impressive achievement, with six of its faculty members listed among the top 2 percent of scientists worldwide. This achievement, coupled with the institute's noteworthy ranking in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), was proudly acknowledged during the event. The Principal extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, students, and their proud parents.The event saw the esteemed presence of two special guests, Dr. Velraj, Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, and Mr Veeramuthuvel, Program Director of ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission, who played a pivotal role in awarding degrees to the deserving students.Veeramuthuvel emphasized the significance of persistence in achieving success, urging the students never to falter in their pursuits and to glean valuable lessons from their experiences.Dr. Velraj lauded KPR Educational Institute's remarkable performance over the past two years and underscored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape. He encouraged students to harness their potential in the field of technology with unwavering enthusiasm, cautioning against excessive reliance on mobile phones and inspiring them to aspire to become visionary entrepreneurs in the technology sector.A special distinction was bestowed upon Mr. Srinivasan, who stood as the top achiever at KPR Institutes, receiving a prestigious medal and prize. Additionally, eight outstanding undergraduate students and four postgraduate students were honored with special prize medals for their exceptional achievements.In an impressive display of academic excellence, a total of 631 undergraduate engineering students and 47 postgraduate engineering students were conferred with their well-deserved degrees during the academic year spanning from 2018 to 2022. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed professors, enthusiastic students, and proud parents, making it an unforgettable occasion in the annals of KPR Institute's history.
