Chennai: The Department of Physical Education at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), organized an inter-departmental aerobics competition as part of the college's Women's Day celebrations on Friday.

International basketball player Aishwarya Nataraj graced the event as the Chief Guest, while SAI Deputy Director Shweta Vishwathan attended as the Guest of Honour.

The competition, aimed at promoting fitness and empowerment, saw the participation of 10 teams from various departments.

Commerce Team C, comprising students from B.Com Accounting & Finance (Shift-2) and B.Com Honours, emerged as the winners, while the Management Studies team, featuring participants from BBA (Shift-1 and Shift-2), secured the runners-up position.

A total of 15 participants represented each of the top teams in a spirited display of endurance and coordination.
