Schools reopen in TN after 600 days

Teachers have been told to give a grand reception at the school entrance by providing sweets and flower bouquets to the students’ coming after 17 months lockdown.
The Tamil Nadu Chief
Minister rendered a warm invite to students who are eager to come back to
school after gradual relaxation after the second wave.
Students, after two
waves of Corona, you are ready to start your education journey for a bright
future. Brush aside whatever happened during these two phases, but, now start
afresh towards your educational goals, he said.
Conducting classes for
students was inevitable.
The TN govt has made
good work in containing the virus. I thank all those who did the
magnanimous work towards fighting Corona, he said.
It’s the duty of all
those working in schools to invite the children who are coming back with hope,
joy and smiling face. I request MPs, MLAs, PTA members, Headmasters and
teachers to give a grand welcome to all the students. Welcome them as if you
are welcoming a guest.
In the next two weeks,
teachers should imbibe hope and enthusiasm, through storytelling, songs, games
and art work.
Heeding to my word,
let learning be a joyous occasion. Give them sweets and flower bouquets.
