Chennai: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025.

The announcement was made on June 23, 2025, inviting applications for recruitment to various posts in Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Organisations across States and Union Territories.

The recruitment will be conducted through an open competitive Computer Based Examination (CBT). Details regarding vacancies, age limits, essential qualifications, fee structure, and application procedure are provided in the official notification.

Eligible candidates can apply online via the official website ssc.gov.in or through the 'My SSC' mobile application. The deadline for submitting online applications is July 18, 2025, up to 11:00 PM. The last date for making online fee payments is July 19, 2025, until 11:00 PM.

In the Southern Region, the CBT is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from September 8 to September 18, 2025. A total of 24 examination centres have been earmarked — 12 in Andhra Pradesh, 1 in Puducherry, 8 in Tamil Nadu, and 3 in Telangana.
