Indian refiners, read as Reliance saved and profited at least $10.5 billion by buying discounted Russian oil, as per Government reports. But Modis government has earmarked only $ 2.3 billion only to buffer export related impediments, by providing easy credit. Instead of reaping some tax income Modi sarkar changed the laws - such as removing Windfall income tax, and reclassifying Diesel from the export list so that Reliance can benefit.
