Jan. 20 - Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched IRNSS - 1E satellite (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System) on January 20 from Sriharikota. This is the fifth out of the seven satellites that comprise the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System. This system will provide accurate information about positions to mobile users in our country and regions extending up to 1500 km from our boundary.
