Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait, under the distinguishedpatronage of the Ministry of Awqaf& Islamic Affairs - Foreign Relations Department, organized a series of impactful Public Programs titled “Message of Hijrah” across its various Units in Kuwait. The Programs were held to commemorate the Islamic New Year& the significant Islamic Event of Hijrah — the migration of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Makkah to Madinah and to draw timeless lessons from this turning point in Islamic history.
Salmiya Units & English Unit Program - 23rd June 2025
In collaboration with the English Unit, IMA Salmiya Unit 1 & 2 conducted a highly engaging Urdu Program at Masjid Hayya Ibrahim, Salmiya. The keynote speaker, Janab Masood Shahab Sahab, eloquently presented the historical and spiritual relevance of Hijrah, drawing powerful lessons of Sacrifice, Strategic Planning, Patience& Unwavering Faith in Allah (SWT).
Abu Halifa Unit & Youth Wing (Fahaheel Zone) Program - 26th June 2025
IMA's Abu Halifa Unit &Youth Wing - Fahaheel Zone organized a parallel Urdu-language program at Masjid Mariyam, Mahboula, on Thursday, 26th June 2025 after Isha prayers.MrShamvilParvezSahab, Ex IMA President and respected speaker, addressed the audience with insights on the broader significance of Hijrah - not only as a physical migration but as a spiritual journey from falsehood to truth, from injustice to justice, and from darkness to light.
Kuwait City Unit Program -26th June 2025
Simultaneously on the same evening, the City Unit of IMA Kuwait hosted a well-received Event at Deewaniya, Kaza Bella Saloon, Reggae, featuring the distinguished speaker and Khateeb, MrNisar Ahmed Sahabwho spoke on the moral and ethical transformation symbolized by Hijrah. He explained that the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ embodies timeless principles that continue to guide believers today. The Hijrah also teaches the value of strategic planning, teamwork, trust in Allah.
Farwaniya Unit Program - 26th June 2025
IMA's Farwaniya Unit organized a grassroots-level Public Programin Farwaniya. MrDawoodAbsami, the session's speaker, focused on the inner dimensions of Hijrah and emphasized that true Hijrah today is not only about Geographic Movement but about sincere InnerTransformation, backed by the Qur'anic verse:“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
(Surah Ar-Ra'd, 13:11).
Abbasiya&Khaitan Unit - JalsaYoum-e-Hijrah - 26th June 2025
The Abbasiya&Khaitan Unit of IMA Kuwait also held a special event titled 'JalsaYoum-e-Hijrah' at Masjid Bilqees, Abbasiya, on Thursday, 26th June 2025, soon after SalatulIsha. MrMasood Shahab Sahab, who once again captivated the audience with his passionate message about Hijrah being a symbol of Divine Purpose, Prophetic Wisdom & Timeless Courage.
All the above programs drew a large number of audiences including Families, Youth & Professionals. The Events were concluded with the distribution of dinner packets to all attendees.
Special sessions of Q/A were held in each program by the end in order to engage the audiences on the subject of Hijrah and to clarify their thoughts on the contemporary application of Hijrah's teachings.
