According to the latest report from the Institute of International Education (IIE), the number of international students in the United States has risen by 6.6% in the 2023-24 academic year. The total number of foreign students increased from 1,057,188 in 2022-23 to 1,126,690 in 2023-24.
Indian students saw a significant rise, growing by 23.3% from 268,923 in 2022-23 to 331,602 in the current year. In contrast, the number of Chinese students declined by 4.2%, dropping from 289,526 to 277,398.
