To secure admission to a 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program at the nation's top institutions, candidates must appear for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their 12th standard (or an equivalent course) in 2024, in any stream—Science, Commerce, or Arts. Students appearing in 2025 are also eligible.
Age Limit: General candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, those born on or after October 1, 1995, are eligible.

Exam Pattern:
The exam will be conducted for a total of 300 marks, with questions in English.
The test consists of two parts: Part A and Part B, both of which must be answered.

Duration: 3 hours

Important Rules:
Candidates are allowed to attempt UCEED a maximum of twice, and only in consecutive years.
The score is valid only for admission in the same academic year the exam is taken.
