The University of Madras offers an internationally recognized B.Sc course in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Duration: 3 years
Study Details:
A general curriculum consisting of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology will be covered in the first 2 years. In the third year, students can choose the main course according to their choice.
Taught directly by industry experts in the field, this course is offered to pursue a Master's degree as well as Research at global standards. It is designed according to the standards of the University of Melbourne.
Standard:
Further, this self-financed course is offered under the direct supervision of the University of Melbourne in areas such as syllabus, quality and teaching. While University of Madras professors conduct lectures directly, professors of Melbourne University teach students virtually in certain courses.
Practical classes:
The first 2 years consist of 6 practical classes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. English language lessons based on IELTS are part of the curriculum plan. The course is designed to carry out short-term research in a specific discipline in the third year.
Eligibility: Students who have passed 12th standard in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry can apply for this.
Selection Process: Students will be selected based on an entrance test that will be held on the basis of 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics syllabus.
