In an effort to provide transport related courses, National Rail and Transportation Institute, a leading educational institution in the country aims to bring out young graduates providing efficient and challenging solution in the field of transport.
Significance:
Indian Railways is the 7th largest employer in the world with a total of 13, 00,000 employees having set up 15, 000 Km long rail transport across the country. With about 7, 000 railway stations, it serves over 2, 30,00,000 passengers. Having such specialties, the Indian Railways has for the first time in the country set up a specialized educational institution for transport and related disciplines in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Undergraduate Degrees:
B.Sc., - Transportation Technology
BBA, - Transportation Management
B.Tech., - Rail Infrastructure Engineering
B.Tech., - Rail Systems and Communication Engineering
B.Tech., - Mechanical and Rail Engineering
Masters Degrees:
MBA, - Transport Economics and Management
MBA, - Logistics and Supply Chain Management
M.Sc., - Transport Technology and Policy
M.Sc., - Transport Information Systems and Analytics
M.Sc., - Railway Systems Engineering and Integration
Note: It also offers an International Degree, M.Sc., - Railway Systems Engineering and Integration in association with UK's University of Birmingham.
Qualifications:
For BSc. programmes, must have completed 12th Mathematics as a subject through the science stream. For BBA programme, students must have studied Mathematics through any stream. To enroll in B.Tech., courses must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th.
To get admission into Postgraduate programmes must have studied Mathematics or Statistics as a subject in UG. In addition, must have collectively scored at least 55 percent in all the subject. 50 percent marks is enough for OBC, SC, ST, and differently abled students. Admission will be based on JEE, CUET scores.
