Introduction
The internship programme has been designed to help participants understand the functioning of Parliament and the process behind policy formulation and legislative interventions.
Overview
It offers direct exposure to parliamentary activities while enabling interns to contribute to research and policy support functions.
The initiative is expected to benefit students and graduates aspiring to build careers in governance, public administration, law, policy research and political consultancy.

EligibilityThe programme is open to postgraduate students currently pursuing their second year as well as candidates who have completed their postgraduate studies.
Preference will be given to applicants from the following academic backgrounds:
- Degree in Law
- Public Policy
- Governance
- Social Sciences
- Strong writing and research skills
- Good command of the English language
- Analytical and policy-oriented thinking abilities
- Knowledge of the Tamil language will be an added advantage
- The internship is a paid programme
- Duration ranging from three to six months.
- Work from the office of the Hon'ble Member of Parliament in Delhi
