Indian students willing to study in Israel can apply for 2022-2023 academic year scholarship provided by the Foreign Ministry of Israel.  

This scholarship is offered to students willing to study in any educational institution across Israel.

Eligibility:

• With good academic records should have obtained BA or BSc degree.
• Must be a citizen of India
• Should not be above 35 years at the beginning of the academic year.
• Must have obtained A2 Visa from the Embassy of Israel.
• Should have received a certification on proficiency in English of Hebrew
• Fill the application for admission to the specific Israel educational institution or university  

Note: Scholarship will be offered only after getting the consent from the university in Israel

Scholarship Details:

The scholarships are offered for eight months (one academic year) to graduate students. The scholarship includes tuition fee, monthly allowance (USD 750), and a basic health insurance, whereas applicants have to arrange for accommodation, transportation and air travel. 

The new post-doctoral fellowship program for excellent international researchers. A total of 20 fellowships will be provided to incoming post-doctorates conducting research in one of Israel’s universities; at least 15 fellowships will be allocated in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Maths, and up to 5 fellowships will be allocated in Humanities and Social Sciences. The fellowships will be awarded for two years for the amount of NIS 160,000 (about USD 47,000) per year. 

The Israeli government has been offering short term summer scholarships to Indian students to spend a month at the research universities in Israel. These scholarships are available for specific courses in a number of Israeli universities that covers tuition fees, accommodation, expenses for three weeks and medical insurance cover.
