Chennai: SEEDS (Service to Educate, Enrich, and Empower a Dream Society), an NGO founded in 2017 by Dr. Ramakrishnan and a team of dedicated experts, invites applications for its 2024 Scholarship Program aimed at economically disadvantaged students in government or government-aided educational institutions. This initiative, recognized by the Government of India, seeks to support students aspiring to pursue higher education.
Following the release of school examination results, SEEDS has begun accepting scholarship applications. Annually, around 1500 applications are received and meticulously reviewed by volunteers and committee members to select the most deserving candidates. The deadline for submission is May 31, 2024.
The organization, led by professionals from around the world, offers financial assistance and guidance to talented students with limited financial resources. Currently, SEEDS supports over 600 students across 32 districts in Tamil Nadu, with many alumni securing positions in top companies both in India and internationally.
Additionally, SEEDS Sri Lanka focuses on children in rehabilitation camps, acknowledging their need for special attention to facilitate their growth and development. SEEDS is dedicated to providing these children with the necessary support to pursue education, start careers, and achieve success in life.
Eligibility Criteria:
Passed 10th and 12th grade in government or government-aided schools
Economically disadvantaged students
Destitute children, orphans, or those living with a single parent
Children from Sri Lankan Rehabilitation Camps
Application Process:
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2024.
