Chennai: Higher Education Minister Kovi Sezhiyan announced that general counseling for the transfer of teachers in institutions governed by the Tamil Nadu College Education Department will be conducted by November 25.

According to the minister's statement, teachers from Government Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Colleges of Education, and those working in government engineering colleges, polytechnics, and special institutes under the technical education department had requested counseling for transfers.

Following discussions with the Chief Minister, approval for this counseling process was granted, and an official order has been issued.

The counseling will be held online by November 25, ensuring transparency and adherence to established protocols for the current academic year's transfers.

Applications from teachers seeking transfers will be reviewed, and orders will be issued according to the relevant guidelines.
