Coimbatore: The finals of the Pattam Mega Quiz for Coimbatore corporation school students will take place today at Hindustan Arts and Science College.

The event is organized by Dinamalar's student edition, Pattam magazine, in collaboration with Coimbatore Corporation and Hindustan Education Group.

The quiz aims to enhance students' knowledge in science, math, and language while preparing them for exams. The competition started with quarter-finals in corporation schools on November 19 last year. Today, the semi-finals and finals will be held from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Hindustan Arts and Science College, Avinashi Road.

A total of 64 school teams, each with two students, will compete in a 20-minute general knowledge test with 20 questions. The top eight teams will move to the final round.

Power Minister Senthil Balaji, Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Hindustan Educational Group Executive Trustee Saraswathi Kannaiyan, and Executive Secretary Priya will distribute the prizes.
