New Delhi: The Delhi University on Thursday commenced the Phase II of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions.

The varsity has released its Allocation-cum-Admission schedule for undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2024-25 after the declaration of results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) - UG by the National Testing Agency.

In this phase, the candidates who had completed phase I are required to log in to their dashboard to choose their preferred programmes and college combinations, subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Candidates who have not yet registered on the CSAS portal will be able to do so, as the University has decided to keep both phase 1 and phase 2 open till 4.59 pm on August 7.

The deadline to submit the preferences for colleges is set as August 9, till 5 pm.

In Phase II, the candidates will have to map the subjects they studied in Class XI with those they appeared for in CUET-2024.

Only the CUET papers in which the candidates passed their Class XI board exams will be considered for admissions, as per the schedule.

The declaration of simulated ranks is scheduled for 5 pm on August 11, with the preference change window open till midnight on August 12, starting from 5 pm on August 11.

The declaration of the first CSAS allocation list is scheduled for 5 pm on August 16, with the last date for online payment of fees set as 5 pm on August 30.

Additionally, the Admission Branch has established a helpdesk, including a Chatbot and email facility, to assist prospective students in resolving their queries.

The Admission Branch will conduct a series of webinars to guide candidates through the admission process, covering topics such as filing preferences, mapping Class XI subjects with CUET papers, and other essential points.
