Chennai: Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched TheTeacherApp, an innovative digital platform by Bharti Airtel Foundation, aimed at equipping teachers with advanced skills for dynamic 21st-century classrooms.

The launch event in Delhi featured dignitaries including Bharti Enterprises' Vice Chairman, Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, and Bharti Airtel Foundation CEO, Ms. Mamta Saikia, alongside education leaders, teachers, and students.

The app offers over 260 hours of curated, interactive digital resources, including courses, webinars, podcasts, and thematic events, designed to enhance teaching methodologies and student engagement.

A key feature, Teaching Kits, provides 900+ hours of ready-to-use content, such as videos, worksheets, lesson plans, and question banks, enabling practical classroom delivery.

Additionally, live expert sessions share classroom strategies while fostering a community of educators through impact stories.

Aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, the app promotes capacity building and continuous professional development for teachers, school leaders, and administrators. It is accessible across web, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring nationwide reach.

Addressing the gathering, Pradhan emphasized the pivotal role of teachers as "Karmayogis" shaping future generations. He highlighted the government's commitment to leveraging technology for educators' growth.

Mr. Mittal called the app a "decisive step" in equipping teachers to foster creativity and innovation, essential for India's global leadership.

This initiative underscores Bharti Airtel Foundation's dedication to transforming education and empowering teachers, reaffirming its vision of safe and happy learning spaces in schools.
