Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced the registration schedule and fee details for the August 2024 ESLC exam for private candidates.

Private students who need to take-up exams must have completed 12 1/2 years of age as on August 1, 2024.

The application window for these exams will be open from July 18, 2024, to July 24, 2024.

Students failing to apply on the above mentioned days may apply through Tatkal scheme on 26 & 27 July 2024 by paying an additional fee of Rs. 500/-

Students are to submit their applications online through the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in or at designated service centers.

The examination fee is set at Rs. 125/-, with an additional online application fee of Rs. 70/-, totaling Rs. 195/-.

Payments can be made in cash at the service centers.

For those applying for the first time need to submit either an attested copy of Transfer Certificate or School application or Birth Certificate.

Students retaking the exams must also submit a photocopy of their previous mark sheet.

The fee for each subject retake is Rs. 42/-, payable in cash at the service centers.

The exam results will be announced online, and students can check their results on the official website.

The exams for private candidates are scheduled to be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and commence on 19, Aug 2024 and end on 23, Aug 2024.
