IGNOU launches 13 new academic programmes

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has unveiled 13 new programs across its various schools, including four MBA programs in new domains.
These new programs include an MBA in Construction Management, an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, an MBA in Agribusiness Management, and an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management. Other programs introduced are a PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, a PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, an MA in Geeta Studies, a Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion for Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, and Intellectual Disability, and an MSc in Home Science with a focus on Community Development and Extension Management.
The institute had recently announced the MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management, which is open to graduates with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved categories as per the norms of the Government of India).
Similarly, admissions for the MBA in Construction Management have also commenced. Offered by the School of Engineering and Technology, this program is conducted in English and spans two years.
The fee structure requires candidates to pay Rs. 15,500 per semester, with a Rs. 17,500 fee for the third semester due to the inclusion of an 8-credit project.
