Mumbai: IIM Mumbai conferred the inaugural Srujan Puraskar to Prof. Chakradhar Saswade of NID Bengaluru during its flagship annual event, Avartan.
This prestigious award celebrates exceptional creativity and professional excellence in India, with Prof. Chakradhar becoming its first-ever recipient.
Prof. Chakradhar was recognized for his remarkable contributions to institutional branding, including the design of iconic logos for various organizations. Notably, his design for IIM Mumbai's logo has become an enduring symbol of the institute's identity. The award highlights the profound impact of his thoughtful and aesthetic work on institutional representation.
As part of the event, Prof. Chakradhar delivered an engaging presentation showcasing his extensive portfolio, including logos for Yashobhoomi, IIT Tirupati, IIM Bodhgaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and DICGC.
His talk explored the intricate interplay of creativity, symbolism, and branding, captivating the audience and underscoring the transformative role of design in shaping organizational identities.
Reflecting on the honor, Prof. Chakradhar expressed his gratitude, saying, “Being recognized by a premier institute like IIM Mumbai is both a proud and humbling moment.
