Chennai: Indian PhD students have a unique chance to expand their research horizons in Japan, thanks to the International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) at the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS).

Under the ICGP, Indian PhD students can now apply for short-term research courses at NIMS, Japan, with stays ranging from 6 to 12 months.

This program is open to full-time PhD students from selected Indian universities, offering them an invaluable opportunity to gain international research experience.

Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of 1,20,000 yen to cover living expenses, and the institute waives all tuition fees.

The deadline to apply for this prestigious program is December 2.
