Phagwara: Lovely Professional University (LPU)'s Team Reddix secured first place in the 8th International World Robotics Championship-TechnoXian. Competing in the robot hockey category, the team triumphed over 70 others from more than 55 countries, including Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, and the UAE.

Organized by the International Federation of eSports, All India Council for Robotics & Automation, and India's Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, the event is regarded as the world's largest robotics competition. Held in New Delhi, it drew top talents from around the globe.

LPU's winning team included Mihir, Ravi, Nandish, Anish, Vishnu, Sumanth, Mohit, and Ashish Kumar Singh. Their well-engineered robots demonstrated impeccable precision, leading to a thrilling final against Russia, where Team Reddix emerged victorious.

LPU's Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, praised the team's dedication and innovation, calling the victory a major achievement for the university. The success highlights LPU's commitment to advancing technology and nurturing future technocrats.
