Trichy: The Department of Management Studies, NIT Tiruchirappalli, conducted a five-day Advanced Management Development Programme titled "The Power of SHE: Women's Journey to Business Leadership," from December 2-6, 2024.

Sponsored by the Ministry of MSME, the program aimed to empower women entrepreneurs to navigate challenges and leverage opportunities in business operations.

Coordinated by faculty members Dr. P. Sridevi, Dr. B. Senthil Arasu, Dr. Nivethitha S, and Dr. V. Lavanya, the event welcomed 33 women entrepreneurs aged 21 to 50 from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Telangana.

Dr. G. Aghila, Director, NIT Trichy, inaugurated the program, emphasizing women's pivotal role in technology-driven business leadership. Guest speaker Ms. Kuppulakshmi Krishnamoorthy of ZOHO highlighted personal branding and seizing opportunities.

Key sessions included strategic leadership, managing work-life balance, negotiation skills, and emotional intelligence. Participants praised the program's practical content and holistic approach, fostering skill enhancement for competitive business growth.
