Chennai: Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K. Ponmudi announced that online applications for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses can be submitted from September 16 to 26.

In a recent interview, the minister mentioned that admissions for engineering and arts and science colleges would close by September 23. Prospective B.Ed. students can apply online via the official website www.tngasa.in during the application window.

The rank list for admissions will be published on September 30. The admission process will begin on October 14 and continue until October 19. The first-year classes are scheduled to commence on October 23.

The minister also noted that there are 2,040 B.Ed. seats available in government-aided colleges across the state.
