London/Sonipat: O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has achieved a milestone in the QS Subject Rankings 2025, securing the top position in India for Law for the sixth consecutive year. The university has also entered global rankings in five new disciplines.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is ranked No. 1 in India and 78th globally. JGU has been ranked No. 1 among private universities in India for Politics & International Studies (201-250 globally) and Arts & Humanities (360 globally). It secured the No. 3 position in Social Sciences & Management (274 globally), No. 2 in Economics & Econometrics (551-700 globally), and No. 6 in Business & Management Studies (451-500 globally).

Chancellor Naveen Jindal called the recognition a testament to JGU's academic excellence and global engagement. Vice-Chancellor C. Raj Kumar said the rankings affirm JGU's leadership in higher education and its commitment to the Institute of Eminence initiative.

The QS rankings, based on academic reputation, employer perception, and research impact, evaluated 1,747 universities globally. JGU's multidisciplinary focus and global collaborations have propelled its rise in international rankings.
