Private candidates may apply for DEEE 2025

Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Chennai, has invited applications from private candidates for the Diploma in Elementary Education Examination scheduled for May/June 2025.
Eligible candidates must download the application form from the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in and submit it through the respective District Institutes for Education and Training (DIETs).
The submission must include copies of mark sheets for candidates who have previously appeared for the examination.
Applications, along with photographs, must be uploaded at the designated institutions, which are equipped with web cameras. The prescribed examination fee should also be paid at the time of submission.
The fee structure is as follows:
Fee for each subject: ₹50
Mark Certificate (First Year): ₹100
Mark Certificate (Second Year): ₹100
Registration and Service Fee: ₹15
Online Registration Fee: ₹70
The application window will be open from March 18 (afternoon) to March 24, 2025, except on Sunday.
Candidates missing the deadline can apply under the Special Admission Scheme (Tatkal) on March 25 and 26, 2025, by paying an additional fee of ₹1,000.
The DGE has clarified that applications from ineligible candidates will be cancelled, and submissions via post will not be accepted.
