Chennai: The rank list for paramedical courses, based on Plus 2 marks, was released yesterday.

Tamil Nadu offers over 20,000 seats in 19 paramedical courses, including B.Sc. Nursing and B.Pharm., across government and private medical colleges.

A total of 68,108 candidates applied for these courses, with an additional 3,540 applicants for the six-year Pharm.D program.

After reviewing the applications, the rank list was published, showing 67,038 candidates qualified for paramedical courses and 3,486 for the Pharm.D program.

Vinothini secured the top rank in the paramedical category with a perfect score of 200 out of 200, followed by Muspin with 199.50, and Shivani with 199.

In the Pharm.D category, Divya ranked first with a full score, while Abhinaya and Yajini followed in second and third places.

The Directorate of Medical Education announced that counseling for paramedical courses will begin after the initial admissions for MBBS and BDS courses are completed.
