The Tirupur Exporters Association is committed to advancing the knitwear export trade to new heights. As part of this effort, Association President Subramanian and General Secretary Thirukumaran recently participated in the JIAM trade fair in Osaka, Japan. There, they explored cutting-edge technologies on display, including the latest AI-powered machines from leading companies such as Yamato, Kansai Special, and Juki.

AI-driven machines, which can identify spare part needs automatically, were a particular highlight. The exhibition attracted industrialists from various countries, including Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, all seeking to integrate innovative technologies into their operations.

A delegation of 50 members from Tirupur visited the exhibition with the goal of bringing these advancements back to their home industry.

The Tirupur Exporters Association has extended an invitation to Japanese companies to introduce these transformative technologies to Tirupur, ensuring that the knitwear sector can benefit from the latest innovations.
