Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has extended the deadline for candidates to appeal against the tentative answers for the Combined Engineering Services examination due to a technical issue.
The deadline now has been fixed as September 9, 2024. Initially, the timeline was set as August 30, 2024.
The examination for the Combined Engineering Services was conducted by TNPSC on August 12, 2024 (morning session), and subsequently on August 19, 20, and 21, 2024 (both morning and afternoon sessions).
The tentative answers for the Tamil and General Knowledge papers were published on August 23, 2024, on the Commission's website.
The time extension aims to ensure that all candidates have a fair opportunity to review and appeal the suggested answers, said John Lewis, Controller of Examination, TNPSC.
