New Delhi: As many as 21 students from Delhi government schools have secured employment with HCLTech under the company's "TechBee - Earn While You Learn" programme, the Directorate of Education (DoE) said on Friday.
According to the DoE, the selected students will be able to work with HCLTech while simultaneously pursuing higher education under the programme.
Offer letters were handed over to the students by IAS officer Pranjal Patil at a ceremony, the department said in a post on X.
Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood congratulated the students, saying their achievement reflected the potential of students studying in government schools.
"Heartiest congratulations to the 21 students from Delhi Government Schools on securing opportunities through the HCL TechBee 'Earn While You Learn' programme," Sood said in a post on X.
He said the achievement underscored the Delhi government's commitment to creating future-ready and industry-oriented learning opportunities for students under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The minister also wished the selected students success as they begin their professional careers while continuing their academic studies through the programme.
